Hey, I can't believe I had been gone for ... 2 months. How time flies when you are (sometimes) having fun. JUMP, Toronto, IJ Toa Payoh were several blasts. Shall blog about them eventually.

Udon. My favourite Japanese noodles for many years, have been ramen. Truth to be told, it was all the fault of a particular Japanese movie, Tampopo, one of my absolute favourite movies of all time. This movie sometimes felt like an update. Anyway, I like this enough, even though it was pretty long. In fact, I think they could had made two movies with the length of it. The oodles and oodles of udon on display, certainly made us all very hungry, and impatient as well.

Bridge to Terepethia. Many felt this was an inferior sequel to Narnia. I beg to differ. Well firstly, it was not a sequel, just another story from the same series. While the fantasy element was kept at a minimal, I thought that the values and lessons learnt from this film was far superior. The two (and a half) leads were much better actors that the first Narnia film. Well, these two were actually seasoned child actors before this film, and hence they were able to perform better. I enjoyed watching this one.
