2 of Us. Da ge wanted to watch this, and I realised later he knows one of the actors. This was a series of short items, put up by two really talented Hong Kong actors, with some minor crew / cast. I think there were about 10 items. I enjoyed the clown mime item best, and it was good that there were 3 of them, of which the last one was when the two clowns were old, and they struggle to perform the kind of physical-demanding tricks that they used to be good at. The Siamese twin item, Da ge and I did not enjoy, partly because, since they were already so close together in everything else they do, this item was no longer fresh nor interesting. Likewise for the man and his cat.

I thought that this Kong Kong Fringe Festival, organised locally by the Arts House, suffered a little when it was programmed at the same time as the TNS's M1 Festival. Many a times we were not certain whose programme was whose, and as both boasted at least a dozen programmes and line-ups each, in venues all over town, it made every individual show stand out even less. I guess this show did ok as the local ... cantonese-speaking community came to support the performance.
