The concert reminded me of the one Wen Fu had last year, filled with friends and well-wishers. It was a refreshing experience for me listening to such a unique and versatile instrument. You know, at times, I almost thought that it was two person playing at the same time. The other really commendable thing was that katryna was playing many new songs, according to the programme. The working partnerships she commanded was astounding too, whether composers, or performers, which all lend to very interesting textures and layers to the music. Some of the composers had really interesting ideas on what can be done with the harp too. Anyway, I now have even more respect for the instrument after the concert.
