Before meeting them I have reservations of how well they will be received here. Their albums are not available here anywhere. I know that there is a following for a capella in Singapore, but to fork out $50 - $100 per ticket for a relatively unknown act for this region, takes quite a bit of consideration. Anyway, they were only on our island for about ... 30 hours. A flight delay caused them a day here, and we would have brought them to a little sightseeing. Anyway, I learnt a little about true professionalism from them. They needed very little time in the theatre to prepare, and they were ready to pop onto stage and mesmerised the audience, after just 1 1/2 hour of arrival. Listening to the five of them, man, they could, and they might each have, easily have their own solo careers, because each of them sound damn good on their own, but when they are together. Oh, and they have their own original compositions too, so they are quite an impressive act ... They brought maybe about 300 cds to sell, and they were all snapped up, which was good as it means they don't have to carry any to their next destination. Poor Hong Kong ... We brought them to Newton Hawker for supper, and they were so bowed over by the variety of food we have. All too soon they had to leave, and we sincerely hope we can bring them over again for another concert in the near future, perhaps a Christmas Concert, that would be grand too. Currently their live cd is playing in my computer, and their studio recording is in my discman when I travel, heh heh ...
