I have finally made my first little step into the Liquid Kitchen. Can't be helped, this is so close to my home. Finally, I've always wanted to find a pub-thingy place really near home, that is not too dark, smokey, sleazy etc. I think I finally found a place to have a drink after a hard day's work before heading home. What am I saying ... Anyway, LK quite fits the bill actually, a place that tries to be a restaurant and a pub. The interior is quite comfortable and cosy. The front part, where the bar counter is, has a television screen that shows, what else, so maybe I have an avenue to watch, you know what ... The back part is filled with high table and chairs, and some low seats too. Now all I need to find is the company to hang out with. Yeah! Well besides LK, there are three shops along the same side of shophouses that open around the same period time. There is a Prata Cafe, opened to rival the giant Prata House; a Japanese Pizza place, and an IceBox, that sells desserts and drinks, I think. Am really glad that my little neighbourhood is becoming more and more happening. Now waiting for the MRT to come out!
